Aptos will be hosting a High School Night in collaboration with Hoover this Thursday, October 19thfrom 6-8 PM. Come learn more about the high school admissions process. Reps from private schools and charter schools will be there!
Hello Aptos Families
We have three urgent requests for volunteers:
Library Support at Lunch - our incredible "learning commons" in the library attracts more than 100 kids at lunchtime, and Ms. Bishop needs help making this a calm and productive space for reading or special projects like bookmaking, writing, and poetry. No specific skills necessary, and you can come occasionally or on a regular basis - any help would be appreciated! Contact Ms. Bishop at email@example.com
Yearbook Editor - help our kids preserve their middle school memories! Be part of a team of parents and students that assembles and distributes the yearbook. Commitment is 1-2 hours every other week through the spring. No experience necessary, but bring your creativity and organizational skills! Contact John Katz at firstname.lastname@example.org
Craft Fair - The annual craft fair needs 3-5 people to help with emails, marketing, organizing food vendors, craft tables, and day of events in mid-December. The kids are already making crafts- we need you or the event won't happen! Please email email@example.com if you are able to help.
Thanks in advance!!
