Common questions:

Why are my grades more important this year? Do grades matter in middle school?

There is a common belief held by middle-school students that grades don't matter until high school. Some students stretch it a little farther by saying that they will be able to get back on track with their grades when they begin the eighth grade in time for high school applications. The truth is that all grades make a difference. 7th grade grades are especially important when applying to private, independent, and parochial high schools. Each high school admissions team will review your 7th grade transcript.

Can I go on a shadow visit to a high school I am interested in?

Currently ONLY 8th grade students may participate in SHADOW VISITS. However, parents may go on school tours, which are available to all families.
